Guidelines for a Safe and Respectful Gym Environment

Gym Solo Concept

Gym Solo is a fitness space to work out and train solo or with a friend 

No hassle, no intimidation and complete exclusive use of the equipment for 1hour or more  

General

  • Appropriate sportswear and clean trainers must be always worn in the gym.
    • gym shoes, gym socks, weightlifting sock, shoes yoga socks. Shorts, leggings,
    •  t shirts, and jogging trousers, active wear and sports clothing
  •  One person only allowed in the gym per booked session at all times if not a Duo booking 
  • Maximum two people allowed in the gym 
  • Always respect the gym facilities by using equipment appropriately 
  • Refrain from using offensive language, shouting, or aggressive behaviour during the use of the gym as the building is used by other businesses 
  • Customers must be 18 and over to use the gym as a solo customer
  • Any children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (Must be Duo booking)
  • You will leave Bodyhealththerapies GymSolo in a clean and tidy condition. This includes but not limited to, putting away equipment neatly, removing any trip hazards, chucking any litter, wiping down machines and equipment, clearing any spillages
  •  You will take all your belongings with you when leaving the Gym. 
  • Neither Bodyhealththerapies GymSolo  is responsible for any property left behind.
  • . You will exit the bodyhealththerapies Gym Solo on time and be courteous to any users entering after you.
  •  You will be responsible and charged for the damage to equipment outside of normal wear and tear or necessary cleaning of Bodyhealththerapies GymSolo due to your violation of this agreement or any agreement as outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
  •  You will be held liable and charged for any costs incurred to replace equipment taken from the Bodyhealththerapies GymSolo
  •  You will provide proof of identity if reasonably requested by Bodyhealththerapies GymSolo
  • . You will comply with any additional rules, regulations and requests communicated through the bodyhealththerapies website 

 

Hygiene and Cleanliness

  • Always bring a towel and wipe down equipment after use.
  • Return all weights, mats, and other equipment to their proper place after use.
  • No food is allowed in the gym area; only water or sports drinks in sealed bottles are permitted.

Equipment and Gym Use

  • Do not drop or misuse weights and equipment.
  • Weight training drop pads are to be used to reduce noise of the free weights, dumbbells and safeguard damaging the gym floor as it is not a sprung or concrete floor
  • The Gym space is for soft to light impact functional, movement  fitness exercises and weight training 
  • No high impact exercises, jumping or skipping is allowed in the gym it is not a sprung or concrete floor and cannot accommodate this activity
  • No music devices, loud speakers and loud music can be played in GymSolo.  Customers must listen to music through headphones  
  • Report any faulty or damaged equipment to staff immediately.

Personal Belongings

  • Please do not leave bags, coats, or valuables in the gym space, take all belongs with you when you leave your session 

Safety

  • Customers must be fit and well medically cleared by their  GP to participate in physical activity  and have no medical conditions that will prohibit using the gymspace  
  • Warm up before exercising and cool down afterwards to prevent injury.
  • Use a spotter when lifting heavy weights.
  • Follow all instructions given by gym staff and trainers.

Membership and Access

  • Access can be denied if persons are not the same names as stated in booking do not share your membership code with others.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in being asked to leave the gym, suspension or cancellation of gym membership. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.
